Meet Lina Michaud

A lifelong Augusta native whose heart beats for her family and her community!

A proud graduate of Cony High School, Lina’s deep roots in the Capital Area have blossomed into a lifetime of service, connection, and making Maine a better place for everyone. Lina’s greatest joy is her family. As a devoted mother of four and the doting grandmother of five energetic grandsons, she knows that the strongest communities are built on a foundation of love and support.

This passion for helping others led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from UMA and become a Licensed Social Worker. With 30 dedicated years of service at the State of Maine, Lina has spent decades advocating for those who need it most.

• Empowering Youth: Co-Founder of a local Back to School Program and nonprofit for 10 years, ensuring Central Maine’s youth have the tools and confidence to succeed.
• Fighting for Families: Co-founded a legendary Camping Weekend in the Forks, raising $250,000 over five years to support Maine families battling cancer.
• Investing in Futures: State Scholarship Coordinator for a local fraternal organization for six years.
• Leading with Love: 2019 Maine Mother of the Year Honoree. Past President of a Maine nonprofit and a 1,200-member fraternal organization she has called home for 20 years.
